Our Old Town toastmaster club has been active for more than 6 years and has been the distinguished club for the past two year and striving towards its third consecutive distinguish club award. The club has around 20 members with diverse backgrounds and experiences. The environment is friendly and supportive. The self paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment.
About our members:
In our club you will find veteran members who have been with the club since it's charter to members who have recently joined the club. Using this diverse experience, we work together to improve our listening skills, effectively using visual aids, communicate effectively within time limits, provide and receive feedback, improving leadership skills while meeting new people and having fun. And you'll love the applause. Each time you present your prepared speech, an evaluator will point out your strengths while guiding you with suggested improvements. At first you will be applauded for your effort; later you will be applauded for your skill.
